Sigil & Script (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the App, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Sigil & Script does not require an account. Your journal entries, reflection notes, reading history, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. Sigil & Script does not operate its own cloud account system for storing your journal or reading content.
The free version of the App is supported by advertising. The App also uses analytics to understand high-level app usage, improve features, and monitor app performance.
Sigil & Script allows you to create and store journal entries, reflection notes, reading history, daily draw history, freeform draw history, app preferences, and related settings.
This information is stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated. Sigil & Script does not sell your journal entries, reflection notes, or reading history.
The App uses Firebase and Google Analytics for Firebase to collect limited, high-level usage and performance information. This may include general app activity, screen usage, feature usage, session information, app version, device type, operating system, and diagnostic information.
This information helps us understand how the App is used, improve features, monitor stability, and make the App easier to use.
Sigil & Script does not send journal text, reflection answers, private notes, card meanings, card names, full reading text, or personal written content to Firebase Analytics.

If you subscribe to Sigil & Script Premium, Apple App Store, Google Play, or subscription management services such as RevenueCat may provide purchase status information to the App in order to manage your subscription access.
Sigil & Script does not directly collect or store your payment card information. Payments are processed securely by Apple or Google through their respective app stores.
The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect or use certain device, usage, advertising, and diagnostic information to deliver ads, measure performance, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where allowed and consented to.
Depending on your location, the App may show a consent message asking whether you agree to personalized advertising and related data uses.
If you do not consent to personalized advertising, or if personalized advertising is not available, the App may show non-personalized ads instead. Non-personalized ads may still use limited information for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting, and fraud prevention.
Google AdMob may be linked with Firebase or Google Analytics services to help measure ad performance, understand app usage, and improve advertising features. Where applicable, this is handled according to Google’s policies and user consent choices.

On iOS, the App may ask for permission to track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.
If you allow tracking, Google AdMob may use Apple’s advertising identifier, known as the IDFA, to help deliver personalized ads and measure advertising performance. If you do not allow tracking, the App may still show ads, but they may be non-personalized or less relevant.
You can change your tracking permission at any time in your iOS device settings.
Depending on your region, the App may provide privacy and consent choices through Google’s User Messaging Platform. These choices may allow you to consent to or reject personalized advertising, manage advertising purposes, or opt out of certain data uses where required by law.
If you choose to allow notifications, Sigil & Script may schedule local notifications on your device for reminders such as daily card reminders, daily reflection reminders, habit reminders, or journaling reminders.
